Sell-out event, Manchester Rum Festival will be arriving in the city this June, and to kick start the big day will be hosting two Caribbean brunches filled with food, drinks and feel-good music.

Home Sweet Home, Great Northern, will be getting into the rum festival spirit from 10am with an exclusive Caribbean style brunch hosted by Pusser’s Rum. A bespoke brunch menu will be created especially for the event, alongside a selection of Pusser’s Rum cocktails!

Across town, mad men inspired bar and restaurant The Pen and Pencil will be hosting its own take on a Caribbean brunch with rum favourite Chairman’s Reserve, from 10am. St Lucia inspired cocktails will be on offer, alongside brunch classics and a spot of Soca music for the ultimate party vibe running until 4pm.

The brunch events will not be ticketed but are based on a first come, first serve basis, and bookings can be made via Home Sweet Home and The Pen and Pencil directly.

Located at Revolución De Cuba, the sold-out festival, which is the mastermind of freelance drinks curator Dave Marsland, will boast over 40 types of rum including Bacardi, Chairman’s Reserve, Diplomático, Sailor Jerry and Mezan, alongside drinks sponsor Coco Re’al.

Afterparties will be taking place across the city, to follow on from the festival as it comes to a close at 5pm. These will be announced next month!
