About: July is a packed month for those seeking entertainment, and  with the Biannual Manchester International Festival in the city there is plenty to see and do. The Festival runs for a month showcases exclusive works  and takes place at most of the established venues in the city.

At The Manchester Opera House  Wednesday 6th to Sunday 17th July 2011  Victoria Wood returns to her native North West to write and direct a new theatre piece - a story of some of the children who sang on the famous recording of Nymphs and Shepherds by the Manchester Children's Choir.  And at the end of the month Dancing through the decades begins on Friday 29th July.
